Who we are

Shortbuss Trivia is run by Buss Systems LLC, registered in Oklahoma, USA.

What this site collects

We do not collect marketing data from this site.

If you email hello@shortbusstrivia.com, we receive the address and the message so we can reply. That is the only data we collect and only use for account communication.

Third parties on the site

We load Google Fonts. Google may see your IP address when the fonts load.

We do not run ads. We do not run Meta or Google Analytics pixels.

The quiz app

The live quiz app lives on a separate domain, sbtrivia.com.

Host accounts store an email. The app may set a host-only session cookie that is required for proper game mechanics.

Players join with a PIN and a nickname. Nicknames show on the room screen. Treat them as public in that room.

Why we use it

We use this information to run the product, reply to email, and keep the service secure. We do not use it for ads. We do not sell it.

Who we share with

We do not have a list of advertising or data partners. We do not sell personal information.

Kids

Host accounts are for people 13 or older. Players only give a PIN and a nickname. Mixed-age rooms can happen. Hosts are wholey responsible for who they let in.

Retention and access

Host account data stays while the account exists. Room data stays as long as we need it to run games and keep the service working.

To access, correct, or delete your information, email hello@shortbusstrivia.com. There is no self-serve privacy dashboard.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect data like not collecting more than what we actually need.

Changes

The date at the top is when this page last changed. If we make a material change, we will post it here.
